Gilbert Medical Center, located at 7530 NW 23rd St. in Bethany, was built in 1977. Since its opening, the center has expanded and now offices 10 physicians, with 6 of these being family practices. Its multi-specialty group practices offers some of the best care in digital x-rays and mammograms, physical therapy and allergy. The center also offers a convenient pharmacy and a CLIA certified lab – the highest certification a lab can receive. Being a part of the Chamber helps Gilbert Medical Center to support the community and have access to other professionals. Kent Smart from Gilbert Medical Center says the Chamber allows him to meet other businesses to share challenges and help one another. The Gilbert Medical Center has also been offering a diabetes education seminar a few times a year at the Chamber. This invaluable seminar offers free assistance on eating habits and managing diabetes.
