Relay for Life Raises Funds for Cancer Research
Several members of the Northwest Chamber supported cancer research on Friday and Saturday June 15 – 16th at the Bethany Schools Sports Complex. Groups formed relay teams and walked around the track continuously Friday night through Saturday morning. Jane Haskin, Todd Krout, and Priscilla Cude were all spotted on the track representing the First Bethany Bank & Trust team. Many members of the chamber served as volunteers for the evening including Sharon Peters and Michelle Talley. Nancy and Jack Morgan served as co- chairs for the event. Overall this relay raised over $92,000 for cancer research! Congrats to all the team members, sponsors, volunteers, and staff for reaching this goal!
