Candidates Discuss Issues at Northwest Chamber Forums
The Northwest Chamber is organizing two candidate forums to help metro area voters become better acquainted with the candidates and the issues they’ll be deciding in the June 26 primary election. Alex Cameron of Channel 9 will serve as the moderator for both forums, which will provide audience members and the candidates themselves an opportunity to ask questions. Both forums are free and open to the public.
On Tuesday, June 5 a forum featuring House District 82 and the Oklahoma County Court Clerk race will take place from 7 to 8:30 PM at Francis Tuttle Rockwell Campus in Tuttle Theater, 12777 N. Rockwell in Oklahoma City. House district 82 candidates Representative Guy Liebmann and Mike Turner will begin the forum followed by county court clerk candidates Tim Rhodes, Charles Key, Salome Vaughn, and Nathan Schlinke.
On Tuesday, June 12, a forum with House District 84 and House District 100 will take place from 7 to 8 PM at Southwestern Christian University in the Conference Center, 7210 NW 39th Expressway in Bethany. House district 84 candidates Representative Sally Kern and Curtis Moore as well as House district 100 candidates Representative Elise Hall and Jeff Renner are invited to participate.
