Networking Through monthly coffees, luncheons, and business after hours, members have regular opportunities for making new contacts at Chamber events. They can also participate in quarterly speed networking events that allow Members to meet many people in a fast-paced and fun networking atmosphere.
Relationship Building By working with other Chamber Members in service on councils, committees and boards, they also get to know other members as friends and allies. The Ambassadors, Government Affairs, Community Service & Education, Economic & Community Development, Special Events and Membership Councils, as well as the Board of Directors all provide opportunities for greater involvement, skills building, and service in this volunteer driven organization.
Visibility As a Member benefit, all Chamber Members are listed on the Chamber website and in the annual directory. By participating in Chamber events they have opportunities for community-wide visibility in the media. There are also optional marketing opportunities in the weekly electronic Billboard, the monthly newsletter, the Catalyst, on the website, and in co-operative advertising ventures in local publications.
Professional Development Held each month, skills seminars, workshops and issue-driven round table discussions give members the chance to stay on top of the latest trends, enhance their abilities and discover new ideas for their own success.
Leadership Development Each year a class of individuals is selected to participate in Leadership Northwest, a September May series of personal development sessions that help leaders build relationships, sharpen their skills, and learn more about the Northwest community. These graduates are prepared and encouraged to accept new challenges as leaders in the future.
