Position Title: President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), NW Oklahoma City Chamber

Reports To: Executive Committee of the Board of Directors

Location: Bethany, Oklahoma

Position Summary: The President & CEO is the chief executive and administrative officer of the NW
Oklahoma City Chamber, responsible for leading the organization in accordance with the strategic
direction set by the Board of Directors. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the Chamber's
operations, including strategic planning, member services, program management, financial oversight,
public relations, and staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Implement strategic plans to advance the Chamber's mission and objectives.
  • Advise the Board on policy, programs, and other key initiatives.
  • Represent the Chamber in the community to enhance its public image and foster relationships with key stakeholders.

2. Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chamber, ensuring efficient and effective
    implementation of programs and services.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures to guide the organization's operations.

3. Member Services and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain members.
  • Ensure the delivery of valuable programs and services that meet the needs of the
    membership.
  • Foster a culture of member engagement and satisfaction.

4. Staff Leadership and Development:

  • Hire, train, and supervise staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide opportunities for professional
    development.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment.

5. Public Relations and Advocacy:

  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Chamber, articulating its mission and
    programs to the public and media.
  • Advocate on behalf of the business community to local, state, and federal officials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, government
    officials, and other stakeholders.

6. Program and Event Management:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of programs, events, and initiatives that support
    the Chamber's mission and provide value to members.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making improvements as
    necessary.
  • Ensure programs align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary range between $70,000 and $80,000
