In 1939, local business owners joined together to form this organization with the purpose of promoting the prosperity, happiness and welfare of the commercial interests and the citizens of the community and the surrounding trade territory. Today we continue advancing that same mission.
A chamber is a living organization of people who choose to work together so they can accomplish more. While we have different tools and a much broader opportunity for trade today, our members still benefit by the basic elements – maximizing promotional opportunities, referrals through networking, building customer loyalty, working with civic and government leaders and supporting one another in times of difficulty and prosperity.
The backbone of the Northwest Chamber has always been small business. From a home-based business to a professional sole practitioner, a mom-and-pop store to a local community bank, this chamber has always served those individuals who took risks and pursued the American Dream of running their own business.
The Northwest Chamber seeks to create new opportunities to help those companies succeed. We are utilizing new media options to reach audiences online as well as stepping up our presence in traditional media.
