VOTE YES FOR A NEW ARENA DEC 12
The Board of the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber Endorses a YES vote in the December 12 special election to extend a 1cent sales tax for an additional 72 months (6 years) when the MAPS 4 project completes funding its projects next year.
The Paycom Arena has been a significant driver in attracting investment and stimulating economic growth throughout Central Oklahoma. In addition to the Thunder, an Arena enhances the quality of life for All Oklahomans by bringing sporting, artistic, cultural, and family entertainment to our community.
It is important that we act now because designing, engineering and building a project of this size can take up to a decade.
We want to keep the positive momentum going. We remember what life was like before OKC started investing in municipal improvements and we CANNOT go back there.
