Developed to help local businesses across the state overcome the economic challenges of COVID-19, the Oklahoma Business Relief Program (OBRP) offers vital funding for qualifying businesses that have suffered revenue loss due to the pandemic. Governor Kevin Stitt has designated $50 million in Federal CARES Act funds for the program.
The initial application period on June 29 was filled and closed the next day.
PFIs can begin filing Grant Applications for Businesses for Phase Two on Tuesday, July 14 at 8 AM
This will allow additional Businesses to apply for these grants, up to $25,000 or two months of average payroll.
It is recommended you have all your application with all necessary documents completed and with your bank prior to that time, as the remaining applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Twenty percent of the program funds are designated for minority owned businesses.
To apply for the program, please work with a Participating Financial Institution (PFI). You should check with your bank or credit union first because you have to have an established banking relationship with most of the PFIs but not all. Many of our Chamber Members are PFIs , Chamber Member PFIs that are accepting new customers for this program are True Sky Credit Union and First Fidelity Bank.
